摘要
Business process reengineering(BPR) is a way to rethink and ameliorate the specialized and hierarchy model in the company which have been running for more than 100 years. Organizational memory (OM) integrates all kinds of organizational knowledge and forms an important basis of BPR. This paper analyses the impact of OM upon organizational performance (OP) in manufacturing enterprises, which is used to provide referenced information for more quantitative analyze before BPR is started. The method for analyzing OM components is Value Chain model, which is commonly used for business process analysis as a preparation and a base of BPR. Based on the hypothesis, several indexes in International Manufacturing Strategy Survey (IMSS) 2001 are chosen and reliability analysis and canonical correlation analysis are used in the data processing to test the impact of OM on BPR which in manufacturing enterprises.
