Extraction of αs from radiative Υ(1S) decays

摘要：
We improve on a recent determination of alpha(s) from Gamma(Upsilon(1S)->gamma X)/Gamma(Upsilon(1S)-> X) with CLEO data by taking into account color octet contributions and avoiding any model dependence in the extraction. We obtain alpha(s)(M-Upsilon(1S))=0.184(-0.014)(+0.015), which corresponds to alpha(s)(M-Z)=0.119(-0.005)(+0.006).
