摘要
The stability on the rock slope where failures had occurred in Boryung Dam site was evaluated using the stereographic projection techniques. SMR (Slope Mass Rating) approach which is suitable for preliminary assessment of rock slope stability in rock was also carried out for rating the slope rock mass. The 3 similar to 4 major discontinuity sets are distributed and all type of failures (plane, wedge and toppling failure) are present in overall slope faces. The dip of slope must be inclined lower than the minimum estimated angle of 26 degrees, otherwise the possibility of failures will always exist in rock slope.
