摘要
The prevalence of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) in nodal lesions of 37 northeastern Brazilian patients (BR) with classical Hodgkin's lymphoma (CHL) was compared to that of 33 French patients (FR). Seventy of 118 CHL cases were evaluated for the EBV using latent membrane protein (LMP1) antibody and by HIS method for Epstein-Barr virus latency associated RNA (EBER);the median age of patients was similar in both groups (34,8y). This relation was present in 50 % of NS cases in BR and in 18.2 % of FR patients. These findings suggest a stronger association between EBV and CHL in the northeastern Brazilian cases, than in French patients.
