Comparison of DC-DC Converter Topologies for Maximum Power Point Trackers in Space Applications

摘要
Power conditioning unit is the most important part of the electrical power subsystem in satellites. Peak power tracker is the popular method for this unit. In this paper, we compare DC-DC converter topologies to be used as maximum power point tracker of solar panels. Two non-isolated buck and boost types which are used more than the others specially have been simulated and analyzed in terms of different consideration such as efficiency, reliability and dynamic response.
