A model of space in the form of a static gas of wormholes has been considered. It has been shown that the scattering of light on such a gas gives rise to the formation of a specific halo around every discrete source. The properties of the halo are determined by the spatial distribution of wormholes and the halo should correlate with the distribution of dark matter; this makes it possible to explain the complete absence of dark mass in the intergalactic gas. The parameters of the gas of wormholes have also been estimated.
