Photobionts isolated from Antarctic lichens

摘要
Three photobionts, Elliptochloris bilobata, Trebouxia incrustata, and Trebouxia cf. impressa. have beer! isolated and cultured from some lichens collected in East Antarctica. They grew vigorously in culture at 15 degrees C but died at 20 degrees C, Elliptochloris bilobata and Trebouxia in crustata were reported for the first time from Antarctica.
