摘要
Annually, over 2,500 tonnes (5 million lb.) of spent reformer catalysts are treated for the recovery of contained platinum and rhenium. In this publication the techniques and methods employed for the processing of this spent catalyst are discussed. Special emphasis is given to rhenium recovery and purification to catalytic grade ammonium perrhenate, Furthermore, the factors influencing the processing and the metal accountability are also discussed.
