摘要
This study examines change in discipline style through the use of a social interaction approach. Six mother-child dyads took part in the training program. All children showed behavior problems, especially noncompliance, at home and at school. The results showed significant changes in mother disapproval and child compliance and distraction, suggesting that the modification of mothers' and children's behavior produces less aversive discipline styles, acheiving greater child compliance, thus supporting the use of the interactional approach as a tool in parent training programs.
