LCD & CRT monitors -: Radiated electromagnetic emission level

During a few last years companies producing computer monitors have in their offer LCD type monitors. Some of its parameters: dimensions, sharpness and brightness of picture are better then in CRT monitors, which are constructed over a kinescope lamps. As another advantage of LCD monitors many producers and also people taking up problems of electromagnetic emissions give low electromagnetic emissions level. But it shouldn't be thru. In some cases we can find completely different situation. This article presents test results of several types of LCD and CRT monitors. Basing on these tests, we can say that ascertainment about low electromagnetic emission levels of LCD monitors is not always real, and it depends only from comparisons under this in relation to properly select monitors from group LCD and CRT.
