Processing of sound field signal of a constrained panel by cross-correlation

摘要
Application of cross-correlation was tested for its suitability for active noise control of structure borne noise resulted from flexible panel vibration. The results on computer simulation show a great potential for its application in suppression plate vibration, However in practical application there are limitations, such as computation of delay time shift, digital sampling of the driving and response signals and the generation of analog actuating signals at the controller, Even with these limitations, the results show a global reduction of sound power radiated from the plate of between 0.5 to 3.& dB. An advantage of the technique is its simplicity in operation and easy to implement.
