摘要
Non-invasive Transcranial Electrical Stimulation (TCES) of the brain's antino-ciceptive system by a microprocessor-controlled pulse generator was used for the treatment of pain in 124 patients suffering from Chronic Neck or Low Back pain. The results of this study show that this type of treatment can provide good pain relief for 60-80% of patients for as long 2 weeks to 3 months following treatment. The consumption of drugs by these patients for pain relief was also reduced.
