摘要：
Cholesteryl derivatives of diphenyl thioether were prepared and studied by scanning dynamic calorimetry and thermormicroscopy in order to establish the transition path and enthalpies. The compounds were characterized by IR and NMR measurements. The texture of the mesophase was determined with a Boetius hot stage.
