摘要
The asymmetric double probe method is extended to measure not only the ion temperature but also plasma flow in the tokamak edge plasma under a strong magnetic field. The plasma flow or the Mach number is determined by the ratio of ion saturation currents of the double probe pins, where the axes of the cylindrical pins are oriented perpendicular to the magnetic field and face up-or downstream. An experiment was performed in the JFT-2M tokamak.
