摘要：
An ore deposit is a mineral concentration, economically mineable and socially acceptable. Social geology is a needed new discipline that studies the influence of geologic objects on communities and society. Applied to mineral deposits, it should enhance the role of geological features to the analysis and prevision of social change, at a local and global scale.
