Research on developing a miniature temperature measurement system based on uncooled infrared detector

摘要
This paper introduces the process of research and development of an uncooled temperature measurement system, which transforms the temperature distributed on the surface of the object to the gray-scale image, and then displays the image in real time on the monitor, and finally gets the temperature field of the object's surface. Starting from the purpose of miniaturization, real time and high speed, this system exploits the uncooled long-wavelength infrared micro bolometer camera TAU336 as its imaging system and single FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) EP4CE115F29 processor to capture and compute the picture. Meanwhile, it employs the cameralink protocol to work out the speed matching problem between the high-speed display and the relative low-speed capture of the picture. In this paper, a whole system design scheme is proposed, including the project of the hardware and software, and the particular description of the video capture plus the VGA (Video Graphics Array) display system, respectively. The result of the experiment demonstrates that the system can display the object's surface temperature field in real time and has the characteristics of low power consumption and miniaturization.
