摘要
A polarization conversion metasurface (PCM) is presented for radar cross-section (RCS) reduction, which is composed of a dielectric substrate and air, sandwiched between two copper sheets. The polarization conversion tiles consist of double-headed arrow unit-cells are arranged with 0 degrees, 90 degrees, 180 degrees and 270 degrees rotation. The proposed structure demonstrates ultra-wideband 5 dB RCS reduction and 10 dB RCS reduction at 6.7-34.2GHz (FWB=134.5%) and 10.6-31.5GHz (FBW=99.3%) bands, respectively for normal x- and y-polarized incident waves.
