Effect of preparation method on microwave dielectric properties of 0.7CaTiO3-0.3SmAlO3 ceramic

摘要
0.7CaTiO(3)-0.3SmAlO(3) (CTSA) ceramics were prepared from CaTiO3 and SmAlO3, CaTiO3 were prepared by conventional solid-state reaction method and SmAlO3 were prepared by co-precipitation method. As expected, the sintering temperature of CTSA ceramics was reduced and the dielectric properties were improved when the SmAlO3 were prepared by co-precipitation. As the sintering temperature increased, the Q x f values were sharply increased and then decreased. The CTSA ceramics had low sintering temperature of 1410 A degrees C and stable tau (f) value. Microwave dielectric properties of CTSA ceramics were: epsilon (r) = 44.95, Q x f = 50,137 GHz, tau (f) = +7.6 ppm/A degrees C, and the SmAlO3 powers were calcined at 900 A degrees C for 3 h.
