摘要
Self-consistent electronic structure calculations for Fe/Cr superlattices with a spiral ma,anetic configuration were performed by means of a modified linear muffin-tin orbital method. Based on these results calculations of the conductivity as a function of the magnetic configuration and the angular dependence of giant magnetoresistance have been performed. Different magnetic configurations such as spiral structures and tilting modes are compared at the level of total energy and GMR.
