摘要
This paper describes different methods used for inshore ship detection because of complex background. In this paper near sea shore ship detection methods are split into model based sea shore ship detection method and contour based sea shore ship detection method. In model based sea shore ship detection method is eliminate the interference of complex background and color. Contour based sea shore ship detection method is matching sea shore ship convex contour segments of the coastline which was extracted from image segmentation and edge detection. In this survey paper ten types of inshore ship detection methods are discussed.
