摘要:
Kinetics data for the reaction CO2(g) --> CO(g)) + O-(ads) at metal surfaces are used to illustrate a previously developed model for the isokinetic effect. From this, it is concluded that the bending mode of an adsorbed, slightly bent CO2 molecule is the one which must be activated for the reaction to occur.
