摘要
A steady state flow model is developed for one-dimensional solute transport through heterogeneous soils considering scale-dependent dispersion and an immobile region. An analytical solution describing concentration distribution in the mobile and immobile regions is deduced under an initial zero concentration and for semi-infinite one-dimensional space. Numerical computation is completed using the Matlab software package. Validity of the numerical solution of the two-region model computed by the characteristic finite element method is verified by the analytical solution.
