摘要：
A pattern-reconfigureable patch antenna is proposed. The basic configuration of the antenna is a circular patch with seven shorting pins placed along its diameter. By controlling four different PIN dioles, the proposed antenna can work under three modes, including two mutually orthogonal bidirectional modes and one nearly omnidirectional mode while the above two modes are excited simultaneously. All modes have achieved relatively high gain.
