摘要
A holographic artificial impedance surface antenna with desired radiation pattern is proposed based on modulated impedance surface. The artificial impedance surface is built by sub wavelength metallic circular patches on a grounded dielectric substrate. By varying the dimensions of the circular patches, the surface impedance as a function of position and direction can be easily controlled. Using the holographic technique, the desired radiation pattern can be easily achieved. As an example, a holographic antenna operating at 12 GHz is designed.
