Vibration of thermally stressed composite plates with and without cutouts

摘要
The frequency response of two thermally stressed composite laminates was studied. At full application of temperatures, their fundamental natural frequencies were extracted. For temperatures up to T = 120°C, the presence of the cutout resulted in a drop of the natural frequency. At higher temperatures, the frequencies of the plates with the cutout surpassed those of the full plate.
