摘要
In order to mitigate seismic disasters and to reduce catastrophic risks, it is necessary to have adequate damage assessment and risk management strategies, not only in normal times but also in emergency response times. This study modifies the software architecture for Taiwan Earthquake Loss Estimation System (TELES), so that it can run in batch mode to obtain various kinds of analysis results when the study region is subjected to different set of scenario earthquakes, which come from the study of probabilistic seismic hazard analysis. Once the seismic scenario database has been established, it may have several potential applications. This paper intends to demonstrate the application of seismic scenario database on early seismic loss estimation.
