摘要
This paper deals with tool setting method on tool grinding machines. A non-contact automatic tool setting scheme based on light trigger is presented. An experimental device is designed with which diameters of bars and cutters are measured in order to evaluate feasibility and accuracy of the presented method. The results show that the setting scheme is feasible and the level of output voltage used as trigger signal greatly affects measurement accuracy.
