This paper simply describes the development of IT education of colleges and universities in our country, teaching methods and modes and their questions, and simply analysis its development in the future. Preface: in modern society, the acquiring, storage, processing and application capability of information are closely related to IT. IT has become a basic survival ability and skill of people to adapt to needs of information society. High information quality has become the basic needs of social members, and becomes necessary for people to better their surviving situation and space. It also has become a necessary quality of innovative talents. Modern information technology includes computer technology, telecommunication technology and other related technologies, provides a powerful tool for people to store, process, and exchange information. Thus people can improve their speed and efficiency of processing information by hundreds of thousands times than before. Nowadays, the trend of IT makes headway swiftly. Viewed from the side, this trend reflects the beats of living rhythm and IT development are dovetailed in modern society, shows the high-level socialized background of IT development and also proves that connotation of IT fallows the step of social needs and development and their changes. This connotation's change is a process of from theory to practice then back to theory, while improving this process has a long way to go and even is not sure.
