摘要
Wind tunnel experiment for helicopter model involves forward and descent flight test under certain flow speeds. These tests are highly risky and test safety is the premise of successful tests. This paper is focused on the safety control mechanism of helicopter wind tunnel test. Safety control strategies for driving system of the test rig are described, including the main factors affecting test safety, the architecture of safety control and the flowchart of safety for the driving system. The proposed safety control strategies are applied on a coaxial rigid rotor test rig in the Phi 03.2m wind tunnel. Experimental application shows that proposed safety control strategies meets the requirements of helicopter wind tunnel test, and much progress was achieved in the improvement of test reliability.
