Study on hydrolysis of waste wool by alkali oxidizer

摘要
Under alkaline condition the method of oxidation hydrolyzing waste wool from tan process is put forward in this paper. "The alkali oxidizes" to hydrolyze the wool and its variety are studied. The various factors that influence wool hydrolyzation such as alkali dosage, temperature, time, liquid ratio, the water quantity and hydrogen peroxide solution's dosage are researched. The result indicates that when 2g wool, 0.20g NaOH, 0.10g hydrogen peroxide solution, and 20g water are reacted under 80 degrees C for 8h, quite good hydrolyzing result can obtain. The method is low-cost, simple, also used for handling other keratin wastes.
