摘要
Crohn disease (CD) is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) and is the most common subtype of pediatric inflammatory bowel disease (pIBD) (1). CD is notoriously associated with extra-intestinal manifestations (EIMs), which can involve any system (2). Cardiovascular associations are, however, rare and include valvular heart disease, abdominal aortitis, and aortic aneurysm. Thoracic aortitis and aneurysm in pediatric CD are rarely reported in the literature (3). We report a case of 11-year-old with thoracic aortitis and aortic aneurysm found during initial presentation of CD.
