摘要
The City of Canterbury is situated near the North Kent coast, some 100 km from London and 25 km from the English Channel ports and Tunnel. It is central to 35 million people living within 3 hours travelling time. The city has an international reputation but is quite small in size. Forty-one thousand people live within it. This paper reviews the introduction of a balanced transport and parking strategy and the success of park-and-ride operations within that strategy.
