Angular dependence of the incoherent angle-resolved photoemission background from dressed particles

摘要：
We present a calculation of the signal expected from a system in which strong interaction with the lattice has induced small polaron formation. We demonstrate that, given a momentum-dependent electron-phonon interaction, one would expect to see angular anisotropy in the edge of the incoherent signal and discuss possible relevance to current experimental data.
