A continence care approach for long-term care facilities

摘要：
Urinary incontinence (UI) is one of the most common reasons residents enter long-term care facilities. A large number of long-term care residents with UI can be managed successfully when the problem is assessed and barriers to successful toileting are identified. This article describes an active program for managing UI in long-term care facilities using a multidisciplinary approach.
