摘要
Recently, Youn et. al. have proposed an overlaid packet authentication architecture for faster data forwarding in content-centric network (CCN). In this article, we briefly review the architecture and examine its security in term of the location privacy of publishers. Firstly, we show that Youn et. al.'s protocol is insecure in terms of publishers' privacy if an adversary's goal is to figure out the physical location of publishers. Finally, we give a new overlaid packet authentication architecture that can support faster data forwarding than Youn et. al.'s construction while guaranteeing the property of the location privacy of publishers.
