摘要
As electronic warfare (EW) fused with the 4th Industrial Revolution such as unmanned technology, cyber warfare and AI (Artificial Intelligence) has played increasing roles in NCOE (Network Centric Operation Environment), which is a future battlefield environment, it is more important than ever to detect and identify an enemy's attack, and cope with electromagnetic waves. In addition, it seems important to calculate weight to use when we define the operational concept of weapons system and the elements suitable for the system and select the sectors where they can be highly useful in order to elevate the operational effectiveness. Unfortunately, however, it has been known that there is no case where the opinions of an expert group are given to the application of EW system or weight for each army by EW sector is applied, though the system has been actively developed through domestic and overseas R&D. With the issue in mind, I will use 'Electronic Warfare Subdivisions' (Fig. 1) of Joint Chiefs of Staff (hereinafter referred to as "JCS") in reviewing priority in preparation for EW system to mount on drones and examine the difference in priority by EW sector. In this paper, I will explain the concept and prospect of drones and EW system and propose a method of applying a relative weight and calculating importance (priority) by EW sector in order to enhance the capability of future EW.
