Preparation and Characterization of a New Electromagnetic Shielding Composites

摘要
To improve electromagnetic shielding performance of the expanded graphite, a new electromagnetic shielding nano-composites(gamma-Fe(2)O(3)/expanded graphite) was prepared by sol-gel process and self-propagating low temperature synthesis technology. The heat released by combustion of dried gel could swell the exfoliated graphite to worm-like EG Nano-particles gamma-Fe(2)O(3), the products of combustion were coated uniformly on the surface or internal holes of expanded graphite when the exfoliated graphite swelling. By using the coaxial network analyzer, electromagnetic shielding performance testing was carried out, the result of test showed when PH is 6 similar to 7, and load of gamma-Fe(2)O(3) is 20wt%similar to 30wt%, a comparatively satisfactory comprehensive shielding performance of the composite material could be achieved.
