摘要
We propose a simulation framework to identify multipath satellites and thus to estimate probability-based accuracy improvement through the satellite selection by excluding the identified multipath satellites. Based on 3D-GIS and spatial statistics, our method for accuracy improvement by multipath mitigation consists of five components: (i) simulated positions by all possible combinations of visible satellites for a given location and time, (ii) spatial outlier detection from the simulated positions using SDE ( Standard Deviational Ellipse), (iii) spatial hotspot detection from the kernel density surface of the simulated positions inside SDE, (iv) multipath satellite identification by SPROH ( Satellite Participation Ratio in Outlier or Hotspot), and ( v) positioning accuracy improvement through multipath mitigation by the satellite selection based on SPROH. An experimental simulation for Shinjuku, Tokyo demonstrates the relevance of our method for accuracy improvement by multipath mitigation.
