RESEARCH ON RAPID PROTOTYPING AND MANUFACTURE OF PHONE SHELL BASED ON REVERSE ENGINEERING

摘要
Phone shell point clouds were achieved by using Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM). The phone shell point clouds were processed in the software MAGEWARE, and the phone shell model was obtained by using the surface construction function of Pro/Engineer software. After that processing, the phone shell rapid prototyping was printed on Zprinter 310 system produced by United States of America. It was an implementation of integrating the reverse engineering technology with rapid prototyping technology to phone shell. It is significant in shortening the development cycle time and be quickly responsible to market using the Reverse Engineering and Rapid Prototyping Technology during the process of product design and development.
