摘要
A novel hybrid Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) and Biomass power plant is installed at Ecole Nationale d'Ingenieurs de Tunis (ENIT). It is the first CSP plant in Tunisia, using Parabolic Trough Collectors with Direct Steam Generation to provide 60 KW of electricity through an Organic Rankine Cycle Turbine. Additionally, biomass anaerobic digestion is used as auxiliary energy to back up the CSP system. This paper includes details about the sizing of the biomass system. Hybrid operation mode (solar field and boiler) test results are presented and assessed, highlighting the potential of implementing CSP and biomass hybridization in Tunisia.
