摘要
Undifferentiated neuroendocrine tumors are rare, and are characterically aggressive with a poor prognosis. Most patients have metastatic disease at diagnosis, and cannot undergo curative surgical treatment. A chemotherapy regimen combining etoposide plus cisplatin is currently considered to be the reference treatment. We report two cases of poorly differentiated neuroendocrine tumors localized in the anal canal and treated by chemotherapy and radiotherapy resulting in prolonged complete local remission and preventing extended surgical excision.
