摘要
This paper focuses on examining the effects of macroeconomic factors, especially FDI, on CO2 emissions in different income-level areas around the world from 2007-2013. Based on IPAT Model, we use Pooled OLS approach to estimate the dynamic data panel of 113 countries in the world. The results support Halo Hypothesis, indicating that FDI reduces CO2 emissions in different areas. Finally, we discuss policy implications for promoting FDI as well as environmental issues.
