THE FINANCING OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN MEXICO

This article shows the impact of the Mexican education investment, which is not an expense for the country, the education is a source of social and economic growth, therefore it's considered an investment. Although Mexico is one of the countries that most invest in this sector, there are multiple basic needs that are in process of being cut down; in addition of the lack of control in the administration of such investment, it has few and imprecise instruments to measure its impact; that's why the country faces a big challenge in the system education areas, for the improvement of quality and educational equity. Based on the above, by meeting the education needs, will help strengthen a fundamental pillar that allows social welfare; ensure that all citizens have access to basic and superior education opportunities of optimum quality, to strengthen human capital that drives economic growth.
