摘要
The results of the development and test of a 175GHz CW clinotron with the output power level of 1W have been presented and discussed. The frequency tuning range from 168GHz to 179GHz and the spectral line width of about 1MHz was achieved with the help of PID feedback control realized in the high-voltage power supply. The experimental test showed the applicability of the designed 175GHz clinotron tube to the thermographic alignment of the quasi-optical transmission line of the CTS-diagnostic at the W7-X stellarator.
