摘要
Nowadays, high temperature superconductor (HTS) materials in electric machines have attracted the attention of researchers because of their unique properties. These features increase power density, efficiency and reduce the size of electric machines. In this paper, partial and fully high temperature superconducting induction/synchronous motor (HTS-ISM) are compared. In the fully HTS-ISM, the HTS materials are used both on the stator and on the rotor, however, in the partial HTS-ISM, they are used only on the rotor. The analysis performed in this paper is based on the FEM method which compares the two machines in terms of air gap magnetic flux density distribution and harmonic component, magnetic flux lines and flux density distribution, power factor, torque ripple and efficiency.
