摘要：
The object-oriented database system G2 was designed and developed in the VEMA Brno, Computers and Projections, Ltd. in the period 1994 - 2000. G2 is not only an object-oriented database system, but also the case environment for an application development. At present G2 system is used for several commercial information system implementations with many components. This paper gives us a short overview about the G2 system, mostly in examples. The detail descriptions of the formal model, definition languages, case system etc, exceed the range of this paper and they are published separately [8, 9, 10].
