摘要
There are very limited studies on B2B e-commerce in the China context. So, our effort examined B2B e-commerce initiatives in China, the largest developing country in the world. This study investigates the effects of organizational factors on the performance of B2B e-commerce implementation. Data were collected using a questionnaire sent to the IS directors of 192 firms with B2B and 97 usable responses were received Survey results showed that 46.2% firms have adopted B2B e-commerce; of these, two-third had a formal plan and/or task force for B2B e-commerce deployment. The organizational factors influence the performance of the B2B e-commerce. Firms with high level of human resources and infrastructure factors will outperform firms with low level. This study also discusses implications for B2B practice and directions for future research.
