摘要
Polymer Matrix Composite products are in high demand now a days because of their quality, appearance, enhanced properties and ease in manufacturing. Injection Moulding is a very popular technic for processing plastics because of its high production rate and ability to produce intricate shapes of any size at low cost and at faster rate. The objective of this work is to investigate the influence of Process Parameters in Injection Moulding of PMC Cam Bush and optimize the Process parameters to improve the quality of the Cam bush. Cam bush is an indexing device in ON/OFF Load Tap changer device of a High Voltage Transformer and serves as the connector for indexing head and power changing gears. Shrinkage, Warpage and Surface Roughness behavior is very crucial in Injection Moulding as it negatively impacts the dimensional stability and accuracy of the product.In the present work experiments are conducted according to Taguchi L-27 Orthogonal Array and the response data are analyzed and optimized by using GRA.
