摘要
This paper introduces the test of optical fiber communication property, the parameter of optical transmitter and receiver in optic fiber communication system. The result is given. The mode of modulation and demodulation of optical fiber communication including analog and digital transmission is intensity modulation-direct detection. The transmitted analog or digital signal modulates the optic carrier power or the optic intensity from the light source directly, In the receiver, the optic-electric detector demodulates the modulated optical carrier to the electric signal. The fiber optical communication is shown in Fig. 1: GRAPHICS
