Combining information from focal or beam-tilt series now allows the wavefunction leaving the specimen to be reconstructed with a resolution well beyond 0.2nm Comparing the exit wave for two close crystal thicknesses may allow the projected structure to be inferred even for thick crystals with highly dynamical scattering.
